Ancient Egypt. Karnak. 29th Year of the Reign of King Ramses the Third. You are Ramose, an ordinary man in extraordinary circumstances. Your father, a government scribe, has been accused of arranging the pillage of a royal tomb. Unless you can show the Pharaoh himself proof of his innoncence, your father will be executed, his name erased from the tables of history and his tomb destroyed.
